Who is MiVU?
MiVU is a privately owned and operated veterinary ultrasound service founded by Alice Anderson BVSc PGCertScTech. Alice has had a passion for diagnostic imaging since graduating from Massey University in 1999 and after several years working in the UK, she completed numerous ultrasound courses - including advanced training with a cardiac specialist and developed a strong interest in internal medicine and imaging.
Originally from Tauranga, Alice has deep family ties to the Bay of Plenty region. She now lives rurally with two dogs, two cats, a few hens, and enjoys the balance of clinical work and country life.
MiVU (My View) was established in 2022 to fill a gap in local veterinary services. The goal was simple: to make high-quality ultrasound imaging more accessible to clinics across the region, without the need for referral or travel, as a first step to make further choices.
